My Family

MY FAMILY

My father’s name is Kibwe kipoka Jean Marie. Actually he is a retreated one of the national railways company of the Democratic Republic of Congo (SNCC). He is living in Kalemie a small town located at east of Congo D.R. near Tanganyika Lake.

My mother’s name is Kafwimbi Lukonde Marie Anne; she was the head teacher of the SNCC social school at Kabalo a small town of Congo D.R located near the Congo River; unfortunately she had passed away on Monday the 5^th of January 2009 in Kalemie. I still remember my Dear mother for all that she was doing for me.

In our family we are five, three men (boys) and two women (girls).

The first born is a married man with six children. His name is KIBWE SIKYABA Jean Marie but we call him MAYI; he was born on Wednesday. Actually he is living in Kalemie with his family, he is an expert carpenter.  His first daughter is already married.

The second, his name is KIBWE KALELA Boniface but we call him BABI, he too was born on Wednesday, and actually he is in Kalemie with his wife and four children. He is an expert in Geography.

The third was born on Wednesday too, she is married and living in Lubumbashi with her husband. Her name is KIBWE KILOMBO Agnes but we call her MAMAN. She is a Teacher but she has a degree in medical sciences particularly obstetric nursing.

The fourth is a Teacher too and she is living in Lubumbashi. Her name is KIBWE KALUNGA Marguerite but we call her DENKAMBO, she was born on Wednesday too.

The fifth is I. so I am the youngest of my family. I too was born on Wednesday.

Our family, as our father calls us in French:” la famille des mercredis”  that means the family of Wednesdays.
